Crash on remove unused entries in key
LXBeams is crashing occasionally when I try and remove unused entries in the key. macOS 10.14.4 & LXBeams Version 5.5.2 (14729.1) Happened a couple of times and I can't quite pinpoint what has to happen in the leadup to cause the problem, but it definitely crashes on the click of "remove un...

Strange selection bug
Hi Claude, Having a very strange selection bug... when I click on certain parts of the plan the selection seems to take place at a point not near the cursor. I have a screen recording showing what's happening that I'll email to you as I don't think I can post a file here. Running the latest build Ve...

Request - Layers in Section view
I'm currently working on a production that has a large set on a revolve. I need to work in section view on two very different background graphics. I have tried associated a graphic with a layer, but that doesn't seem to work. Is there any chance of a quick way of turning on and off multiple backgrou...

Section view - unable to draw / objects not showing
Updated to the latest build (4.8.6) of LXBeams. Opened a file from about a month ago. All pasted graphics in section view had disappeared. It also seemed impossible to paste a new graphic in or even draw a line in section view. I had to get the work done quickly so I immediately reverted to version ...

I had a crash when editing the properties of a symbol in version 4.8.0 (11804.2) - error log below. I've updated to the latest build though and the crash is gone. Appears the presumptive fix has worked. ----------------- Process: LXBeams [7031] Path: /Applications/LXSeries Pro/LXBeams.app/Contents/M...

Position Name Bug
There seems to be a strange bug in the retaining of the position name info field location on the drawing. Firstly, this only applies when positions are locked. If I edit the name of a position by double-clicking the position name field in the drawing, all the visible position name fields (for all po...

Styled Text Bug
There seems to be a bug in the styled text editing box. If the plot is zoomed to something other than actual size and then a styled text object is double clicked so it can be edited, the size of the text becomes tiny if the plot is zoomed in and larger than what it should be if zoomed out. I'm imagi...

Application wide Go/Pause/Back
Would it be possible to introduce application wide Go/Pause/Back shortcut keys ? Currently I can only find shortcuts that apply when the live window is selected.
Would be really nice to be able to trigger a Go command without leaving the command line or having to reselect it afterwards.

Lock also prevents delete ?
Would it be possible to introduce a setting that allows locked items to also be locked from deletion ?
It's really useful to lock positions so they cannot be moved, but it is quite easy to then delete them by accident when trying to select just a few fixtures for deletion.
Cheers
Ben

Bug with editing fixture info
Hi Claude,
Found a bug in Beams. If I double click on the channel number of a fixture to edit it and then clear the number the whole program seems to lock up and I'm not subsequently able to select any fixtures without a restart. Same happens with other attributes like color.
Cheers
