On choosing channels...
I apologize in advance. I have a question - but the answer may be obvious to everyone else...and I likely don't have the proper vocabulary to ask it clearly. I'm grateful for any help though. I am setting up my Behringer B-CONTROL BCF2000 for use with LXConsole. It is working nicely. I have a set of...

I just wanted to update this thread to thank you for your help - both with my efforts to use LXConsole with the Berhinger X32 and with this. I have the B-CONTROL BCF2000 working well now with LXConsole, and I believe that it will be an excellent control surface to use with LXConsole - both to record...

Communications between LXConsole and my B-CONTROL just started working. I...well, I'm not sure what I changed. I've tried many things. :) I'll try to track down what change made the difference. But suddenly, MIDI Monitor shows LXConsole sending the CC data - and the B-CONTROL is responding as expect...

That works beautifully. Thanks again. I am still struggling, I'm afraid, with communication from LXConsole to the B-CONTROL. It looks to me as if LXConsole is not sending the CC information that I would expect it to. I'll try to be clear about my current settings. I am using a USB connection between...

Behringer B-CONTROL (BCF2000) as control surface
So I'm trying again to find an appropriate control surface for LXConsole. While working with the X32 together with LXConsole was fun, getting that beast out for lighting proved to be...impractical. I bought a used Behringer B-CONTROL (BCF2000) off eBay, and found some nice software (BC Manager) whic...

ENTTECH Wings
<r>I'm sure that this has been asked before - but I couldn't find an answer.

Does LXConsole directly support the ENTECH line of Wings?

It s...

I came here to ask the same question! I see from the release notes that work is being done to support the native Apple driver with the ENTTEC DMX USB Pro - but also that ENTTEC didn't recommend it. Can someone tell us more about the situation? I'd like to upgrade my MacBook Pro to 10.11 - but I'll h...

I agree that a USB keypad might be a nice addition - and certainly for someone who is experienced using a traditional light console. Still, I'd like to continue to think about how we could make input from the X32 as efficient as possible. My hope is that - for me, at least - this can be more than an...

I'm happy to say that it all works nicely! I configured the X32 to send MIDI CC data on cc-96 and cc-97 and on data on note 5-12 (which corresponds to the user button numbers on the X32). Then LXConsole to accept key q, t, r and Enter and Clear. (I haven't done the zero and . yet.) If anyone is curi...

I wonder if it might be slightly more elegant if we assigned an encoder to decimal values. That is, if encoder 1 was integer, maybe encoder 2 could be decimal. (And then encoder 3 could be integer and encoder 4 decimal - as you suggested.) So then if I needed to record cue 10.3, I could use encoder ...

Thanks for the 8909.1 build. I appreciate it. And I am a huge fan of OSC as well. I love how open and easy to work with it it. The X32 uses OSC extensively. Just not - as far as I can tell - for the user definable controls. I certainly understand about prioritizing features that have general applica...
