controlling the intensity of a light via OSC
I would like to send OSC messages to LxBeams from an external software (but on the same machine), to control the intensity of the fixtures in my lighting plot. I am not sure what message I should send, and in which range? i.e. to control channel 1: /lxbeams/ch1/ and then an integer between 0 and 255...

Side view disappears when saving (version 5.4.3)
Hi all, I m experiencing a problem with LxBeams 5.4.3 As the title states, any time I save my plan (or when it automatically autosaves), the content of my side view disappear. I have to close that tab, and reopen it by clicking on View>Section>Side. Is this happening to anybody else? Is this a bug o...

Picking up this old thread. I totally second what Johan and Lanternz said. i am a very happy user of LX Series (especially LXBeams). I use it all year around, and done many gigs with it. Just recently I designed a show, and had all my beams in my LxBeams lighting plan all worked out, and checked and...

Key Entry Info as a floating window
Hello Claude, I was wondering if it would be possible to have the Key Entry Info as a floating window? I think it would be a great feature to have the key entry info on it's own window, and if it could be dragged and dropped somewhere and stay open (similarly to the Stroke and Fill colours selectors...

Z offset question
I have question regarding the Z offset for a fixture. If in my plan I have a fixture resting on the floor located at: X offset: 0m Y offset: 0m Z offset: -8.3m (Default Height is 8.8m) When I change the fixture (let's say in my plan I swap a moving light for a different one), the new fixture jumps b...

Mirror L/R question
Hello LX Series forum, I have encountered a problem when using the mirror L/R function, which I use a lot in my designs. for example if I have a fixture in the grid on stage right, focused at: Focus X -1m Focus Y 3m Focus Height 0m then I mirror that fixture L/R. The fixture is created in the right ...
