Moving LX Free Files to LX Beams on my iPad
Moving LX Free Files to LX Beams on my iPad
I want to know if it is worth getting LX beams on my iPad. I use LX Free to create lighting maps for film projects. I would love to be able to edit them on my ipad on site and then save it and have the changes be able to still be opened on my Mac's. Can you open LX Free files with LX beams on the iPad make changes and then still have access to the updated document in LX Free
LXBeams for iPad supports .lxxplot files which are also used by LXFree for Java as well as by LXFree and LXBeams on OS X. The OS X applications also support a Mac only binary file that has an extension of .lxplot. The Mac only binary files will only open with the Mac OS X applications. As long as your files are the cross-platform XML based type you can use them with the Mac, iPad and Windows or Linux.
