Gel Combinations in a single unit

Post by agehman »

I am in the midst of drawing up the plots for a new lighting design, and I'm not sure of the proper way to input multiple gel colors being used in a single fixture. In this case it is a 36 deg Source four using 2 cuts of r15 to get the proper color the designer wanted. It would seem easy enough to just type in "r15 x3" but this doesn't show up correctly on the color count report. Thanks in advance for your help! :D

The latest build of LXBeams and LXFree, Version 3.9.8 (9803.1), has improved support for multiple colors. Multiples of the same color should use the form 2xR15 for doubled Deep Straw. When used in this way the color count will identify the primary color as well as the multiple 2x, 3x, etc. and adjust the sheet count accordingly. To combine two different colors, you'll need to use the color field for the first color and the frost field for the second.
