LXBeams doesnt like to print

Whenever I press cmd P
LXBeams seems to hesitate for a few seconds and then crashes.

I can however export a PDF with no problems and then easily print that with the default printer.

What might be the cause?

If the crash occurs when you select print and before the print sheet appears, it is very likely that it is a bug in the system's default printer driver.

There are some things that you can do to provide more information. One is to e-mail the crash log to lx@claudeheintzdesign.com. To find this you go to Applications/Utilities/Console. On the list in the left side of the console window there is a section called "Files". Under that there is a heading called "~/Library/Logs" You should find "CrashReporter" under that. There should be an entry for the crash you experienced.

The next thing to do is to check the page setup prior to printing. You will find this in the Inspector's Document tab under "Size". If a printer driver has corrupted the print information stored with your plot, it is possible that you can fix it by running Page Setup.

Other important information is the version of LXBeams and OS-X. Was the file you are trying to print created on the same computer that you are printing from? Does the printing problem exist for all plots or just one specific one?

If you choose "About this Mac" from the Apple menu and click the "More Info" button, what printers are listed? Which printer is selected as the default and what is its driver version?

Its fixed, and of course it had nothing to do with LXBeams.

I,ve updated an old laptop to Lion and being a spoiled old appleuser I hadn´t downloaded new printerdrivers.
