Yes, You can create colors in a document and export them to the library folder. Then, when LXBeams launches, that file will be added to the standard colors.
Once you have created the colors you want in a plot document, with the Color Library window open, choose File->Export... The save sheet should already be pointing to the ~/Library/Application Support/com.claudeheintzdesign.lxseries/colors folder and the save file type should have "Colors" selected. Save your colors in that folder. Then, either quit and restart or use the "Reload Libraries" button in the general pane of the preferences and your colors will be available in other documents as part of the standard library.
