Can you adjust the mirror l/r function so that it also mirrors the mapped values of a lighting position.
Is there an option to copy and paste mapped values of a lighting position - useful for creating a vertical stack of lighting positions.
Can the replacement of an instrument type retain the field location of the replaced unit.
Thanks for the recent changes - looking forward to Beams coming out of beta.

The latest version offsets the mapped locations of a position as it is duplicated or mirrored.

Like other information in LXFree, there is no need to copy/paste between multiple locations because LXFree supports simultaneous editing of multiple selected objects.

If you select several positions at the same time (shift click or drag the marquee) and then set the value for "Map Start X" in the inspector's info tab, all of the selected positions will map to that x value. If you also set the "Map End X" to the same value, both ends of all the selected positions will map to the same x. Repeat with the start and end y values and you've mapped all the selected positions to the same x,y point. To finish creating a stack, you'd just need to go through and set the individual z values (which you would not want to to with more than one position selected!)

LXFree tries to be smart about where it places text fields and adjusts their locations when a symbol's size or rotation changes. I can see why at times this behavior would be "too smart." So, the latest version has a preference for disabling automatic field placement. The other way of dealing with the issue is to use copy field locations, change the symbol and then paste field locations to set the fields back to their original locations. Which is better is a matter of taste. So, it is now your choice to turn on and off the preference or copy and paste locations.
