dock icon

Just downloaded 1.3.4 Pro and the dock icon has gone missing. App works fine.

The installer does nothing with the dock. It is almost certain that the disappearance from the dock was coincidental to installing a new version.

That said, there could be an issue with 10.6.6 and the new app store that does place icons in the dock...

The app was still in the dock, it just did not have an icon attached, just an empty space and the LXBeams text. Fixed it now by throwing out the old dock item and putting in the new one. That has never happened in any other updates but it does also coincide with update to 10.6.6.

This appears to be a problem with 10.6.6. There are some reports if you Google "dock icon disappear 10.6.6". (see http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1075476)

The current best (and easiest) overall solution seems to be to drag the icon from the dock and replace it.

If something else, other than 10.6.7

is found that fixes this, hopefully someone will post a link here.
