I was putting some dimmed practical lights onto a drawing using the triangular symbol in "extras" keyed as - practical / dimmed. In the process of changing it to a newly created special symbol I selected all my pracs (about 40 of them) and inadvertently shifted them to the same symbol but the dmx version. I lost all my carefully documented notes about each practical. The text fields were still there but empty. I could find no way to recover my text as I had also just saved. Is there any way this info could remain with a symbol even if I accidentally shift it to a symbol keyed as a dmx device for example?

With the latest builds of LXBeams (1.2.1) and LXFree (1.7.1), information is restored when a symbol change is undone.

Also, from LXFree 1.7/LXBeams 1.2 on, you can undo up to 10 actions back after a save.
