As long as you are installing the file downloaded from the claudeheintzdesign.com website, it is safe to install the software on windows. The current installer is codesigned so it cannot be tampered with. If you do not have a codesigned version, do not bypass your anit-virus software to install. You can tell on Windows 10 the install permission confirmation is blue when installing codesigned software and yellow if the software is not signed.
