DXF exporting

When I export a drawing as a DXF it loses a large amount of data, and changes the colors of a much of the drawing.
AutoCAD uses colors to indicate layers. Depending on what software you are using to view your DXF, that could be the reason that it appears to have colors changed. Not all elements of a plot are exportable to DXF. That could explain why some elements don't transfer.
You can e-mail copies of the plot and DXF file along with the specific things you are concerned about and we can take a look.
