If you are trying to connect OSC to LXConsole from another application on the same computer, it is possible to use the loopback interface, 127.0.0.1. However, if there are other connections, such as airport or ethernet, an application using Bonjour may not get the correct port/address information. If LXConsole is bound exclusively to 127.0.0.1, the connection may not work. The solution is to select "any" for the OSC connection in the preferences.
This is only necessary when the sending application relies on Bonjour to find OSC connections, such as is the case with LXBeams. If you send OSC directly to 127.0.0.1 on the correct port, there shouldn't be a problem.
If you are using the loopback connection and there is another application with a socket bound to the same port, then LXConsole will be prevented from establishing a connection. In which case, the messages window will show a bind error when you try to enable OSC.
If the port is left open by the other application, or for some reason has not been closed correctly, a bind error may also occur.
OSC and command line
Ok, i found the problem, it was very simple: In touch OSC you can put an option "send z message", in mine it was enable, and that makes Lx doesn't receive the message. Because it send an other message with a "z", i don't really enderstand what is the point of "z" message, but it appear when you touch the ipad screen, but not every time… I found that because i made a new patch in Max.MSP, and i realise this "z" appears, i need to erase it to make my patch work.
Well, you must disable this option to use the remotecontrol.

The latest build of LXConsole (6204) has a preference that allows you to remove "/z" from messages. This will allow touchOSC to work with LXConsole when the "send z message" option is enabled.
LXConsole's preference is exclusively meant for touchOSC using the "send z message" option. Otherwise, this option should be left disabled.
