LX console user in CHINA needs Robe color 1200 spot profile

Post by nizer »

I am performing in China this month. the gig tomorrow am has a bunch of the lights. Because of the internet firewalls I can't seem to get any info on this light. Could someone send me a profile I could import into LXConsole. I can't .zip files here in China.

I found this but can't open it either.

ALL .ZIP files are blocked in china.

There are now 3 channel setup files for the 3 DMX modes for the Robe 1200 AT in the user contributed files page: http://lx.claudeheintzdesign.com/support.html

Because these files are uncompressed, you will need to control-click them and choose "Download Linked File" if you are using Safari.

To import these into LXConsole, you control-click a channel and choose "Setup Channel" from the popup menu. Then click "Import". At the bottom of the list of channel setups, there is an item, "Choose File". Find the .lxchannel file and open it and your channel will be configured.

These channel setups do not include all the possible defined values for this fixture. For reference, you can find the DMX chart at:

How to I power the unit?

Post by nizer »

Do I need to set a certain channel to a certain level to turn on the light. I know on my SmartMac I must do that. But I can't get the manual here either.

So helpful. Import worked fine :-)

Here's a link to the manual:

It seems like the shutter channel must be full for it to open.
