Clear the command line

Hi guys,
Using LX console with Qlab.
Working just fine, the command line confuses me.
The question:
I have a track sheet / cuelist.
I change a channel intensity with the command line.
When i trigger the next cue, this value remains the same (command line value)
How do I make LX console forget I actually used the command line?
and make the channel intensity be controled by the cuelist again?

When you change a channel in live mode, it is "marked" as having been adjusted. Marked channels do not change when cues are played. This is important if you need to override levels set in cues during a live performance. Then, you need a way of holding an adjusted channel where you set it regardless of previously recorded levels.
But, this also causes what you are experiencing--cues levels don't play as recorded after being adjusted. What was an advantage in the other situation becomes a hinderance.
There are several ways of dealing with this. There is an "Unmark All" command. This releases all marked channels from being held at their edited levels. (Right next to the GO button in the live window there's a small arrow icon that is a shortcut to this menu command.) So, you can manually choose when to override and when to release.
If you are only editing and always want to see cues played as recorded then there is a preference in the "Live" pane that always unmarks channels when the GO button is pressed. This essentially means that LXConsole ignores live channel marking.
In the future, the default setting may be that unmark-on-go is enabled and you have to turn it off to be able to override in live situations. Its a hard call because there are uses for both modes and you want it to work correctly for what you are doing at the moment... But, LXConsole has no way of reading your mind to know what that is.

Marking that is recorded into cues is still very important in tracking mode because that is how you control which channels' levels track from one cue to the next. But, unless you are very familiar with tracking, it is best to leave LXConsole in Cue Only mode.
If you think live marking is confusing, tracking can have much more spectacular unintended results. Left unmarked (or blocked) a channel that is adjusted in the first cue will track that level through ALL the rest of the cues. Tracking is very powerful. You can adjust something once and have it track through. But sometimes (or even most of the time) that's too much power.
When in "Cue" as opposed to "Live" mode, LXConsole has a useful pair of commands, forward and backtrack hilited channels. These allow you to manually track selected levels through a series of cues--some of the power of tracking with less of the risk.
