I do not understand how "Tracking mode"

Tracking is one mode of working with cues where the level of a channel set in one cue is tracked into following cues until it is explicitly set at a different level. If you are used to working with a tracking console, it can be a powerful way of cuing. However, if you are not familiar with tracking, it can lead to unexpected results.
