Funny behaviour when in "Cues"

Hi there,
is it normal for the live output to behave differently when in "Cues" as opposed to "Live"? I thought that "Cues" represents what other consoles call "Blind", thus should not at all affect what comes out as DMX, but when I fire MSC cues, and am looking at Blind, strange things happen...
i.e. channels and timings and sometimes entire cues do not work as expected. When I then switch to the "Live" tab, the state / live output changes again.
Obviously, in a show situation this is not a likely occurrence, but during Plotting this can become quite annoying ...
BTW, is there an easy way to use the info tab in live mode for the current cue? it seems to be only a preview of what happens in the next cue, and is read-only for the "Advanced" tab, so for every action I want to add to a cue, I have to record it, jump to "Cues", do my business there, and jump back (or the playback, as described above, will misbehave ).
