Patch is lost seemingly randomly

Hi Claude,
a fresh little problem that I haven't fully understood...
When patching 1024 channels (via View>Setup...>Channels), they are shown, and I can patch in the split below the channel view as normal, but when I try to safe and either quit or revert to saved, it forgets... not only the patching info, but also that I wanted to patch more than i.e. 100 channels (if that what it was set to before)... strange indeed.
I am using the DMX USB PRO Mk2 from ENTTEC.

This was a bug specifically with setting the upper limit of 1024 channels. (1023 would work and save fine). This is now fixed in the latest build 3.2.6 (6926B).
Please note that although you can have up to 1024 channels, only the first 1024 sub-channels will fade.
For example, say that you have 1024 channels in your file and channel one has both intensity and frame sub-channels. That means that channel 1024 will not fade because the sub-channel limit will have been reached at channel 1023. (That is assuming none of the other channels have additional sub-channels. If they did, the limit would be exceeded earlier.) You can save a document that exceeds this limit. You just will not get any output for channels above the limit.
Each channel always has a minimum of one sub-channel (Intensity). It does not matter if a sub-channel is patched to output or not, it still counts toward the 1024 sub-channel limit. (A long time ago, LXConsole did not fade un-patched channels. This was determined to be confusing and undesired behavior.)
There is also a two universe limit on the output. You can patch up to 1024 dimmers. This does not have anything to do with the number of channels. You can have a file with only two channels and have channel one patched to dimmer 1 and have channel two patched to dimmer 1024.
