Hi Claude,
Thank you for your great softwares.
I have a problem with patching dimmers to channels
on LX Console 4.1.0
I use to patch dimmers to channells easily in the window under
the command line and now when i try to patch I can only control the dimmer
also the dimmer check option does not functions.
hope you can solve my problem.
thank you very much,
Omer

Can you download and try the latest build 4.1.4? This is set to become the release version 4.2.0 in the next few days. I believe it will fix the problem.

Omer, 4.1.4 is the new version. So, if there is something that is not working, it needs to be fixed. Can you post the steps you are taking in both instances where it does not work for you?

Patching appears to be working correctly both in the table and from the command line. So, it is important to understand what is not working for you. Can you please include the OS X version?

I use the OSX version,
if I patch, lets say, to channel 1, dimmers 2-3
I can't control it through the channel and I still able to control
it through the original channels (2,3), It's seems like it doesn't remember the patch but in the patch list it looks OK. I also can't control the Dimmer check (M on the comand line). I tried several things but couldn't figure out what's wrong.

It sounds very much like you have the "Send Channels" option selected in the DMX Out tab of the preferences. This bypasses the patch so that channel 1 always controls dimmer 1, channel 2 controls dimmer 2, etc.

Because you are bypassing the dimmers, addressing them directly from the command line with "dimmer:" won't work either.
