The latest build of LXConsole 4.2.5, has the ability to create and switch between custom channel display configurations using the new Display Options sheet.

This video shows a quick example of a custom display edited using LXBeams:

Manually configured channel displays can be re-arranged so channels can be shown in any order/location. These custom display configurations can also include lines and text labels.

LXBeams is able to import and export LXConsole display configuration files. Channel locations correspond to LXBeams channel control text fields. Lines are standard LXBeams lines. LXBeams plain text fields are exported as labels. (Note that LXConsole always draws labels as 9 point left aligned text.)

Wow, thats a cool update.

I´ll download and play with that right away!

AND! I noticed another small change that's been on my mind for years.
- The opening and closing of the drawer has lost an annoying little step

This was fun!

But when I make a special design in LXBeams and export it I dont get any text at all.
Could it be because my Helvetica font is Swedish? You know we have some funny extra letters, (å,ä & ö) so maybe there´s a difference?

The compact channels setting should be overridden when hiding unmatched channels. This is fixed in build 9830.1
