Importing DXF

I've just discovered this application and am very impressed so far. However I've been unable to import a DXF venue plan - I click on import DXF, select the file but nothing at all happens after that - no import, no error message, nothing. I've tried creating a very simple DXF file with only a few straight lines on one layer but even that doesn't import.
The version is LX Free for Java 0.30.04 - I'm not sure whether that's the most recent version but it's the one that the download link currently points to. Running on windows XP sp3 with java 1.6.0_24.

This was caused by a glitch with a recent Java update. It should be fixed in 0.34.17 which is available for download.

As a reminder: On Windows it is necessary to go to the control panel and uninstall LXFree for Java before installing a new version.
