Hi,
I'm trying to share a plot with someone who has Vectorworks and the last time I tried to export to DXF, the fonts were all way out of scale.
Is there a best method to prep a file to share with Vectorworks?
Thank you.
Optimization for DXF Export
Auto-CAD uses its own system for text, not the font/text system of the operating system. The text displayed when a DXF is exported from LXBeams and is opened in Auto-CAD tends to appear a little larger.
Perhaps someone who uses Vectorworks will be able to answer the question better based on how it imports DXF files. The standard for DXF is Auto-CAD and other applications may import DXF slightly differently. For instance, LXBeams does not support all the variations of DXF. Nor, does a DXF imported into LXBeams look exactly like it does in Auto-CAD.
