Hello Claude,
I tried 5.0.0 and found the following problem: selecting a cue in either the cue sheet or the cue list , doesn't put it under the "GO" button anymore.
I use this option very much. Is this an bug, or did you choose to make it this way??
It would be very nice to have this very convenient thing back.
Last month I tried all new versions with the new lay out, (prior releases to 5) and found it to be a very nice and good working design. Finally it works nice on one monitor. Very stable too, no problems. Thanks again !!!!
Lxconsole 5.0.0 release has bug?
This is a preference in the Interface tab called "Passive Cue/Group/Sub list row selection". This is now set by default. With the new design, it seems to be a better default behavior. But you can deselect it and it will work as earlier versions did. (The preference has been around for a while but, if you never set it, then the new default will become active)
Note that when the passive selection preference is set, you can hold down the option key when selecting a row in the cue/group/sub lists to restore the non-passive behavior.
Unfortunately the option key+click does not work if the row is already selected. But, it is a way of having it both ways, the ability to select a cue from the list to go to --and-- prevent yourself from accidentally changing the order of the cues during a show when adjusting a cue time.
