Beams not rendering
Have an odd one but in my existing plots, when I open them conventional fixtures will not render beams. Intelligent fixtures will render but conventionals will not... Running version 2.4.07
There are several things to check. You can show either beam or field or both. Not every light will have beam information available in the key. So, if you are only showing beams and there's no beam information, only a value for the field angle, nothing will display.
Also, insure that the focus is where you think it is. Particularly check this in respect to the beam plane setting. If a light's focus path does not intersect the beam plane, nothing will be displayed. (You may see something in a section view however)
There are new versions available. 3.0.0 for 10.6+ with 64 bit Intel hardware. And 2.6.0 for 10.5/10.6 on PowerPC or 32bit Intel Macs. If you can't figure out the problem, download and try a newer version. If it still is a problem, send a copy of the plot via e-mail and we'll take a look.
