can we double click the title bar to collapse the inspector for those of us who would like more real estate on the screen.
can the color library editor have a sort function in the title bar - like in iTunes?
can the reports support page view mode? I sent some pdfs of reports the other day and they were missing some info that had spread beyond the page boundaries of the selected paper size.
any chance of a gobo library and editor? gobo image attached somewhere in the beams inspector perhaps?
is there some way to shift things from one layer to another - other than cmd x and cmd v?
can we have a better way to resort the positions list other than click and drag. can we get multiple selections for example? and the arrow keys?

As of LXFree 1.1.7 the Inspector can be minimized to the dock. There is also a disclosure triangle that makes it smaller but leaves it visible.
Dragging a more than one selected row in the Positions report is now enabled. The thing about this is that the dragged positions are relocated in the layer's drawing order based on where they are dropped with respect to the positions. There may be other drawing objects in the drawing that end up behind a position when it is moved using this method. "Send Positions to Back" insures that all the positions are together at the back of the drawing order. Thus when they are dragged into a different order, no other objects are affected.
Report windows now have a line showing the right edge of the printed page. (And a command to hide this in the Report menu).
The Color Library editor sorts the colors by name or full name when you click on the column header in the table. There is also a new Sort Colors by Hue command.
The LXColorLibraryEditor, LXReportEditor, and LXKeyEditor all now warn when a file from the main library is opened and require a Save As if one of these files is edited. This prevents an update install from writing over a modified library file. Updates do not write over files in the User/Library/Application Support directory.

They are there already. Get LxTools. Open the LxKeyEditor. Create a new dmx device and enter all the values you know for your chosen mover. Then click the change symbol button. Down near the bottom of the list are a stack of various symbols appropriate to different types of movers. Save it into a library name that makes sense to you. I just have a generic one called Moving Lights. It will appear in the key list in LxFree under this name.
Sorry Claude if I am jumping in on your answers.

There are a number of posts in the forum about moving fixture symbols. There are some symbols built into LXFree. Symbols are different than key entries. Until recently there has not been support for moving fixtures in a key. You could use a Zoom Leko/ERS kind with a symbol representing a moving fixture but that would not support parameters like pan and tilt.
With the latest versions, there is now support for two new kinds of fixtures, automated and automated with CMY. Part of the difference between these and the DMX Device is that the device is "owned" by a different fixture. (The device is connected to the fixture by the Owner ID field, position#number.) You can see this in the scrollers and I-Cue in the current example plot found in the Help Menu.
There's a new tutorial about the Device Info panel and how devices work in LXFree/LXBeams. It includes an example plot with several experimental automated fixtures.
Not only are there many models of automated fixtures, each model generally has more than one set of DMX addresses and/or accessory wheels, etc. Eventually, as fixture key entries can be created and tested, there will be a key file included with the installer. But, it is likely that most people will need to build or modify their key entries for the specific situation.
